Rohit Group sought to create an optimal office environment that would attract and retain staff during their transition from a suburban location to the downtown core, accommodating approximately 125 people over two and a half floors.

One of the key challenges was to integrate a mix of smaller individual and shared enclosed offices alongside open workstations. Our team was tasked with designing a space that embraced a new work paradigm. The goal was to create a flexible work environment featuring a variety of open and closed workspaces, empowering employees to choose how and where they work best.

To support employees at all levels within the company, we divided each floor into four quadrants, each equipped with a comprehensive range of workspaces, allowing for independent functionality. The layout was thoughtfully designed with strategic traffic flows that encourage social interaction, particularly at the coffee bars located on each floor.

Each quadrant offers diverse work points, both open and closed, providing ample choice and flexibility. Glass board walls and open spaces adjacent to workstations foster team collaboration, while open work areas are thoughtfully separated from informal spaces such as teaming areas and lounges to facilitate focused work. Meeting spaces and coffee bars are strategically positioned near entrances to minimize interruptions and enhance accessibility.

The finishes reflect a sophisticated core color palette, complemented by vibrant vinyl graphics that embody the company’s new culture and branding. Flooring patterns utilize color variations to assist with zoning, clearly delineating open workstations from enclosed meeting spaces. Wall murals in collaborative zones add visual interest while offering a durable, cleanable solution that helps maintain a fresh appearance.

As a result of this project, our client now enjoys a fresh, invigorating, and productive environment that aligns seamlessly with their new branding. The redesign has successfully retained existing employees and attracted new talent to their new location, reinforcing the company’s commitment to fostering a supportive and dynamic workplace.
