Michele Roach, Principal of Wolski Design Group had the exciting opportunity to serve on the judging panel for the 2014 Tomato Kitchen Design Awards. The TKDA Awards celebrate top design and function in residential, commercial and institutional settings in the Edmonton area.  Designers, architects, builders, developers, individuals, restaurant owners, institutions, families and contractors are invited to submit their completed kitchen designs in several categories, along with special awards for green, tech-savvy, and outdoor kitchens for the inaugural Tomato Kitchen Design Awards (TKDA).

The judges were wowed by the unique design of the Woodwork restaurant’s wood-burning grill and efficient layout  (picture 1) and gave high marks for functionality and visual interest created, such as the concept below designed by Rebecca Gagne of Cucina Bella(picture 2).
